The New York City’s Panorama Music Festival began to look a bit rough – the second half of the first day was cancelled due to thunderstorms, and eager holiday visitors had to evacuate Randall Island during the downpour. Thanksgiving, the bad weather does not seem to inhibit the spirit of the rest of the weekend, and the artists have their holiday style properly: Michelle Zauner of Japanese breakfast successfully shines things in a translucent sequin ensemble Saturday, her performance And David Byrnekept wears a classic style of grey suit on Sunday.

SZA’s Panorama costume is equally noteworthy: Ctrl singer-songwriter is wearing a seemingly demure dark grey dress on Saturday with light pink flowers. From the front, the prairie-style dress looks very primitive, with flowing long sleeves and high-necked cuts, but according to the Instagram video, she shows that she is out of the stage. This seemingly sweet work also has a fairly obvious back cut. SZA uses a true tomboy style with a summer dress and thick Balenciaga sneakers – even when trying out a girl’s outfit, she managed to bring a neutral style to the overall outfit.

Regardless of whether it is conscious, SZA’s Panorama clothing has shown that the best antidote to ugly sneaker trends may be appropriate for grassland clothing – or because of the opposite attraction and vice versa. So the next time you wear a Batsheva dress, consider using a pair of Buffalos-SZA approved platforms to offset the old-fashioned silhouette.
